“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." - Matthew 24:36-39
As we approach the beginning of the end, this scripture comes to mind and what does it tell us?
To prepare. Prepare for the days of Noah...
Prepare to be outmatched, outgunned, and outspoken.
Prepare to be laughed at and ignored when you try to preach truth.
Prepare to watch friends get washed away in the floods of unbelief.
However in the same, ready yourselves to be named righteous in God's sight because of your trust in what He has said.
Fashion your ark of faith to rest on the waters of God's grace that will float you into His throne room.
Finally, ready your eyes to see the supremacy of Christ, the Father of lights. The incarnate of purpose, truth, and mercy with His eyes focused on you as you enter your eternal rest in the family of God.
